As a blogger I often feel special because I get some pretty cool perks at times–these sometimes include seeing movies before anyone else gets to! I got the same “insider access” feeling when I did my pre-order of MIB3 at Wal-Mart a few weeks ago. Our early copy was available this weekend on VuDu so we decided to throw a little MIB3 Party to celebrate! (who doesn’t love a good excuse to party?!)
Although the kiddos are a little too young for Men In Black 3 (I mean–they’re both in bed by 8 each night, haha) I didn’t want them to have to miss out on the fun so we made a super fun treat together and did crafts to decorate for the party!
For our treat we made a Men In Black 3 Rice Krispie Treats Cake–so super easy (Amber helped me make ours) and tasty! Just use the original Rice Krispie Treats Recipe then top with Wilton’s Buttercream Icing { tip: if you don’t like using shortening just substitute normal butter} and candy { I raided our leftover Halloween candy stash! }
This was absolutely not the case with MIB3! In fact this is definitely my favorite of the Men In Black series! I loved the humor, the action, and the emotion in the movie that really delves into the dynamics of the partnership between Agents K and J. We all enjoyed the movie and my Mom-in-law was saying that she’d be buying it to add to their MIB collection too!
